VIETNAM HIGHLIGHT - EASTER 2025

Day 1 (April 18, 2025): Bucharest – Istanbul

Arrive at Henri Coandă Airport in Bucharest at 18:40 and meet with the Romanian tour leader. Board Turkish Airlines flight TK1046, departing at 21:40 to Istanbul. Arrive in Istanbul at 23:10 local time.

Day 2 (April 19, 2025): Istanbul – Ho Chi Minh (Saigon)

After a brief stopover in Istanbul, board flight TK162, departing at 02:10 AM local time. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) at 16:25 local time. After collecting your luggage, meet with the local guide and transfer to the hotel in Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) for check-in. Free time available.

Day 3 (April 20, 2025): Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) – Cu Chi Tunnels and Ho Chi Minh City Tour



Breakfast. Today, we will explore the vast network of underground tunnels in the northern part of Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) with a local guide. The Cu Chi Tunnels were used by Vietnamese fighters (Vietcong) during the struggle for independence, serving as means of communication, transportation, and shelter.

For the adventurous, you can explore a kitchen, living room, and a meeting room. Learn how different types of traps were created and visit the weapons room. The guide will advise on the difficulty level of each tunnel before entering.

Afterward, enjoy a panoramic tour of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) with the local guide, discovering some of the city’s most iconic attractions: Notre Dame Cathedral, made of red bricks, the Old Post Office, built in Empire style, the Reunification Palace, and the War Museum. Free time for shopping at Ben Thanh Market.

Evening, accommodation in Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) at Muong Thanh Grand Saigon Centre 4* (or similar), in deluxe rooms.

Day 4 (April 21, 2025): Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) – Flight to Hanoi

Breakfast. Free time available. Check-out. Transfer to the airport for the domestic flight from Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi, transfer to La Casa 4* hotel, check-in, and accommodation in deluxe rooms. Free time available. Evening, accommodation at La Casa 4* (or similar), in deluxe rooms.

Day 5 (April 22, 2025): Hanoi – City Tour and Traditional Water Puppet Show

After breakfast, the day continues with a panoramic tour of the city, where we will see interesting landmarks of the Vietnamese capital (Hanoi - the second-largest city, a fascinating blend of East and West, and an intriguing mix of Chinese and Vietnamese elements). The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (viewed from the outside) is one of Hanoi’s most striking buildings, a towering structure 22 meters high, a living memorial to President Ho Chi Minh. The next stop is the One Pillar Pagoda – a historic Buddhist temple, consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a lake. Another highlight will be the Temple of Literature – the first university in Vietnam, established in 1070 during the reign of King Ly Thonh Tong, later becoming a higher education institute. The architectural complex of the Temple of Literature covers an area of 3600 square meters. We will take a photo break at “Train Street” – one of Hanoi’s most famous unofficial attractions where trains pass just a few centimeters from cafes and terraces. In the afternoon, continue the tour at the Museum of Ethnology, focusing on the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam (indoor and outdoor exhibits). Then, pass by Hoan Kiem Lake on our way to the Old Quarter to see how locals live in these areas. The day concludes with a traditional water puppet show. Evening, accommodation at La Casa 4* (or similar), in deluxe rooms.

Day 6 (April 23, 2025): Hanoi – Hoa Lu (Ancient Capital of Vietnam) – Tam Coc Cave

Breakfast. Transfer to Ninh Binh, an area with spectacular karst landscapes, where we will visit Hoa Lu (the first capital of Vietnam), a former palace of the 10th-century kings, and the famous wooden temples of Dinh and Le. We will continue our tour with a bamboo boat ride to Tam Coc Cave (part of the Trang An Nature Reserve). Tam Coc is known as "Halong Bay on Land," with scenery and boat rides similar to those in Halong Bay. Evening, accommodation at Ninh Binh Legend 4* (or similar) - Block A Superior rooms.

Day 7 (April 24, 2025): Ninh Binh – Halong Bay – Halong Cruise

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Halong Bay, passing through the picturesque rural landscapes of the Red River Delta, rice terraces, traditional villages, and water buffaloes. Arrive in Halong Bay and embark on a unique cruise. Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic attractions. This unique cruise will offer fantastic views of the bay, with over 2,000 limestone islands rising stunningly from the emerald waters of the river. Some islands are forested, many have enormous caves, or beautiful beaches. Lunch and dinner will be served on the boat. Evening, accommodation on the Victory Cruise 4*, in deluxe twin cabins (16 sqm) – cabins located on the main and upper decks.

Day 8 (April 25, 2024): Halong Cruise – Hanoi – Flight to Ho Chi Minh (Saigon)

Breakfast on board. Continue the cruise and visit a cave in the Hanoi Bay. Afterward, enjoy brunch on the boat, check out, and transfer to Hanoi airport for the flight from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh (Saigon). Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Evening, accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) at Muong Thanh Grand Saigon Centre 4* (or similar) - in deluxe rooms.

Day 9 (April 26, 2025): Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) – Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Ben Tre to start exploring the Mekong Delta – an impressive biosphere with over 10,000 species of flora and fauna. The Mekong River, known as the mother of all rivers, originates from the Tibetan Plateau, flows through six Asian countries for 4,500 km, and empties into the South China Sea. In southern Vietnam, between Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and the border with Cambodia, lies the Mekong Delta – an area inhabited by around 20 million people, including fishermen and farmers who have built their homes along the riverbanks. The first boat stop will be at a workshop where traditional clay bricks are made, followed by a walk along the canal to see local factories producing rice paste or coconut sweets. The next stop is at a workshop making sleeping mats, where we will refresh with tea/exotic fruits. We will have the opportunity to chat with locals about their life in the Mekong Delta. Continue the tour past rice fields and vegetable plains. The final part of our Mekong Delta tour is a rowing boat ride. Return to Ho Chi Minh (Saigon), check out, and transfer to the airport for the Turkish Airlines flight TK163, departing at 22:05 local time to Istanbul.

Day 10 (April 27, 2025): Istanbul – Bucharest

Arrive in Istanbul at 04:45 AM. After a brief stopover in Istanbul, board flight TK1043, departing for Bucharest at 06:50. Arrive at Otopeni - Henri Coandă Airport at 08:15 AM local time.
