Tour of USA & Canada – East Coast – June 2025

Day 1 (06/27/2025): Bucharest – New York

We’ll meet at Otopeni Airport to board our direct flight to New York. Upon arrival at JFK Airport, we’ll be greeted by our local representative and transferred to the hotel.

Day 2 (06/28/2025): New York

Breakfast. Together with our local guide, we’ll embark on a half-day tour of New York, the city that never sleeps and one of the most vibrant metropolises in the world. We’ll start our adventure in Manhattan, on the famous Times Square, where giant screens and neon lights create an electrifying atmosphere. From here, we’ll head to 5th Avenue, passing by the grand Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, the imposing Rockefeller Center, and the architectural masterpiece, Flatiron Building. We’ll also visit Grand Central Station, a city icon known for its painted ceiling and historical air. Continuing our tour, we’ll pass Wall Street and the Financial District, the financial heart of the world, and we’ll visit Ground Zero, a site filled with history and emotion. Then, we’ll head to the charming neighborhoods of Greenwich Village, famous for its quiet, tree-lined streets, followed by an exploration of Soho and Chinatown, each with its own distinct atmosphere and culture. After this fascinating tour, the afternoon is free to explore the city further at your own pace.

Day 3 (06/29/2025): New York - Philadelphia - Washington

Breakfast. Today we’ll be transferred to Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States and an important political and cultural center. On our way, we’ll stop in Philadelphia, a historic city known as the place where the U.S. Declaration of Independence was signed. Here, we’ll have the chance to admire the Liberty Bell, a symbol of freedom and civil rights. We’ll also visit Independence Hall, the historic building where the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence and laid the foundation of the American Constitution, a place of great historical value for the entire nation. The transfer duration will be approximately 5 hours.

Day 4 (06/30/2025): Washington

Breakfast. Together with our local guide, we’ll explore Washington D.C. and discover some of the most renowned buildings and monuments in the United States. The tour begins with a visit to Arlington Cemetery, the resting place of American heroes and President John F. Kennedy. After that, we’ll admire the White House, the executive residence of American presidents, the Supreme Court, and the Capitol, the residence of the U.S. Congress. We’ll continue our tour at the National Mall, which houses monuments dedicated to iconic presidents, including the Washington Monument, the tallest structure in the city. The afternoon is free to explore Washington's tourist attractions on your own. We will then be transferred back to the hotel.

Day 5 (07/01/2025): Washington - Buffalo

After breakfast, we’ll be transferred to Buffalo, another well-known city in New York State, located on the shores of Lake Erie. On our way, we’ll stop in Corning, a city famous for its Glass Museum, which hosts one of the largest collections of glass art and technology in the world. Here, we’ll learn about the fascinating history of glass, as well as innovative glass processing and sculpting methods, from traditional techniques to modern creations. The museum offers spectacular glass-blowing demonstrations, and the exhibits are interactive and captivating for all ages.

Day 6 (07/02/2025): Buffalo - Niagara Falls - Toronto

In the morning, after breakfast, we’ll set off for Niagara Falls and then head towards Toronto. We’ll visit the famous Niagara Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, known for its multi-sensory spectacle and overwhelming power. Aboard a boat, we’ll approach the towering waterfalls, where the roar of the falls and refreshing spray will offer us a unique, unforgettable experience. After a panoramic tour of Niagara Falls city, we’ll continue our journey to Toronto. Before reaching the hotel, we’ll take a panoramic city tour, admiring Toronto’s top attractions: Saint Michael’s Cathedral, City Hall, the Financial District, and the iconic CN Tower (exterior visit only), a symbol of the city and one of the tallest towers in the world, dominating the vibrant skyline of this Canadian metropolis.

Day 7 (07/03/2025): Toronto - Thousand Islands Archipelago - Ottawa

Breakfast. In the morning, we’ll depart from the hotel towards the Thousand Islands Archipelago, an awe-inspiring region located between the borders of Canada and the United States. We’ll enjoy a boat tour through the charming islets adorned with lush vegetation and elegant castles. Each island has its own story, and the crystal-clear water and relaxing scenery offer a memorable experience. We’ll then head to Ottawa, Canada’s capital, where we’ll discover the most representative tourist sites on a panoramic tour. We’ll visit Parliament Hill, the seat of the Canadian government and a city symbol. Then we’ll pass along Embassy Row, the iconic street where embassies from around the world are located. We’ll stop at the National Memorial and admire the National Arts Center, an essential cultural spot. The tour also includes Laurier House, the historical residence of prime ministers, and the famous Rideau Canal, a promenade that adds charm to the Canadian capital.

Day 8 (07/04/2025): Ottawa - Montreal - Quebec

After breakfast, we’ll head towards Montreal, the second-largest French-speaking city in the world, and later to Quebec. We’ll stop in Montreal and take a city tour including its main tourist attractions. Originally named Ville Marie by the first European settlers, Montreal is a city of contrasts, where the old port, Vieux Port, blends with the modern urban spaces in the city center. These include an underground network of cafes, restaurants, and cinemas that create a vibrant atmosphere. After exploring the central area, we’ll head to Mont Royal for a panoramic view of the city, admiring Saint Joseph’s Oratory, Notre Dame Basilica, and the famous Olympic Park, host of the 1976 Olympics. We’ll then continue on to Quebec.

Day 9 (07/05/2025): Quebec - Boston

Breakfast. In the first part of the day, we’ll visit Quebec, a city rich in history, where high stone walls and old architecture make you feel as if you’re stepping into the France of past centuries. We’ll admire the star-shaped citadel and impressive fortifications that give the city a medieval air. We’ll stop at the Quebec Parliament, a symbol of local identity and an example of architectural elegance. From here, we’ll continue exploring the charming areas of Vieux Port, Place Royale, and Petit-Champlain, renowned for their authentic atmosphere, cobbled streets, historic buildings, and mix of cafes and art galleries. In the evening, we’ll depart for Andover / Boston.

Day 10 (07/06/2025): Boston - New York

Breakfast. In the morning, we’ll visit Boston, the most important city in New England, known for its British charm and historical colonial sites. We’ll stroll along the famous Freedom Trail, a walking route with sixteen remarkable historic locations, many dating back to colonial Boston and the American Revolutionary War. We’ll explore Boston Common, the oldest public park in the United States; the charming Beacon Hill neighborhood, with its picturesque streets; and the Massachusetts State House, an impressive building with unique architecture. We’ll also visit King’s Chapel and its cemetery, a testament to the colonial past. At the end of the tour, we’ll be transferred to New York.

Day 11 (07/07/2025): Departure from New York

After breakfast and check-out, we’ll be picked up for transfer to JFK Airport for our flight home.

Day 12 (07/08/2025): Arrival in Bucharest
